(DN, Surakarta),- Center for Collaborative Research National Center for Sustainable Transportation Technology (CCR-NCSTT) in collaboration with Institut Teknologi Bandung and Universitas Sebelas Maret held the 5th International Conference on Electric Vehicular Technology (ICEVT) 2018 in Alila Hotel, Surakarta on October 30-31, 2018. CCR-NCSTT researchers have participated by presenting 41 out of 43 research manuscript with the topic of Electric Vehicular (EV) technology. This research manuscript will be scheduled to publish in IEEE Xplore, indexed by SCOPUS.
This academic conference is the annual event which aims to disseminate the research output on EV technology. There are more than 100 participants from academia, industry, and other stakeholders which made ICEVT as the network expansion event between researchers and stakeholder on EV.
The plenary session is hosted by the expertise on EV: Dr. Hubert Friedl (AVL Austria), Yui Hastoro (Director, PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia), Dr. Sigit P. Santosa (Director, CCR-NCSTT), Dr. Thomas Suhartanto (Principal Oil and Gas Research, PT. Pertamina (Persero)), Dr. Eng. Agus Purwanto (Chemical Engineering Department, Universitas Sebelas Maret), Prof. Abdul Rashid Abdul Aziz (Institute of Transport Infrastructure, Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia), and Prof. Muhammad Aziz (Institute of Innovative Research, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan). The latest technology regarding EV technology from the academia and industry point-of-view has been described in this session.
Prof. Yul Yunazwin Nazaruddin, CCR-NCSTT researcher from Institut Teknologi Bandung has presented his research which supported by USAID-SHERA program in 5th ICEVT 2018
In the parallel session, many research topics regarding EV technology such as battery technology, transportation safety, control system, and socio-economical aspect of EV has been presented. The presenter of this parallel session came from multi-discipline academia thus intensifies the discussion from many point of view regarding EV technology development. “From ICEVT 2018, I experienced such vibrant discussion to exchange the knowledge between researchers on EV technology. I hope ICEVT can be the pioneer of solution for greener and more environment-friendly earth” Said Faizal Arifurrahman, one of the presenter in 5th ICEVT 2018 parallel session.
CCR-NCSTT plan to hold this annual academic conference next year as the commitment to implement the capacity building for its researcher by disseminating the research output, and also to escalate the quantity of the research product on EV technology.***
