NCSTT Research awarded as Best Project Award in CARS 2018

SELANGOR, (DN),- NCSTT Research was awarded as the best research project in The 2nd Conference of ASEAN Road Safety 2018 (CARS 2018), on December 4, 2018, Malaysia. The award was given by Minister of Transportation Malaysia to the NCSTT researcher, Dr. Annisa Jusuf. The research with the title of “Rollover Risk Probability Analysis for SUV’s and MPV’s in the ASEAN Market” was conducted by NCSTT members (Dr. Sigit P. SantosaDr. Leonardo Gunawan, Dr. Annisa Jusuf,Luqmanul Hakim and Bagus Panuntun) in collaboration with Dr. Khairil Anwar Abu Kassim from The Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS).
The aim of this crashworthiness research is to minimize the passenger injury due to rollover accident of SUV and MPV in Southeast Asia. This research is also expected to be applied to transportation safety system in Indonesia

About CARS 2018

The 2nd Conference of ASEAN Road Safety 2018 (CARS 2018) was held by The Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) on 4-6 December 2018 in Selangor, Malaysia. This conference aims to bring together policy makers, scientists, researchers, practitioners, law enforcers, academicians and a wide range of public and private organizations from the region, with an interest in the future of road safety. The conference will be a premier platform to bring together key players in road safety within the Southeast Asia region as well as the international level.***
