Faculty of Engineering – Universitas Sebelas Maret to Held International Conference on Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, and Chemical Engineering (5th ICIMECE 2019)
Solo, (DN),- NCSTT as the designated national center of excellence in transportation technology has been continually organizing and participating in research dissemination agenda. This agenda aims to provide the opportunity to exchange new ideas and application experiences and to establish friendly relation among peers for future global collaboration. On September 17-18, one of the NCSTT’s partner university, Universitas Sebelas Maret, held the International Conference on Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, and Chemical Engineering (5th ICIMECE 2019), in Alana Hotel & Convention Center, Solo.
ICIMECE has been conducted several times and succeeded to publish hundreds of research articles in Scopus-indexed proceedings. This year, 5th ICIMECE 2019 brought the theme of “Development and Commercialization of Green Technology”. This event consists of a conference workshop, oral session, also plenary/keynote speeches and invited sessions from the prominent figure on green technology development and commercialization. There are 205 selected research articles which will be presented at this conference.
Many experts from academia, industry, and government have participated in this event to share their insight, experiences, and the latest research regarding the conference’s theme. There are seven keynote speakers from various background and countries:

- Dr. Robert de Souza Ph.D., MSc, BSc Hons, (NUS, Singapore)
- Dr. Eng. Bentang Arief Budiman, (ITB, Indonesia)
- Dr. Denni Kurniawan, (UTB, Brunei Darussalam)
Dr. Eng. Bentang Arief Budiman, NCSTT’s partnership manager, also honored to be one of the keynote speakers in the 5th ICIMECE 2019 with the topic of "NCSTT's Solution for Transportation Challenges".
