Aircraft-related research at NCSTT focuses on advancing sustainable aviation technologies through early-stage and system-level studies. Leveraging aerospace engineering expertise at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), planned research directions include aircraft systems electrification, energy-efficient architectures, and concepts aligned with More Electric Aircraft (MEA) and emerging zero-emission aviation initiatives
These efforts aim to support long-term reductions in energy consumption and environmental impact in the aviation sector. NCSTT provides a multidisciplinary framework to integrate aerospace research within a broader sustainable transportation innovation ecosystem. ITB has also collaborated on this related research with piloting schools.
