Electric Sedan City Car

The electric city car prototype developed by Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is part of Indonesia’s Mobil Listrik Nasional (Molina) research program initiated in 2012, funded by Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) under the Molina Program. Through this program, ITB has contributed to the design and development of various electric vehicle platforms, including urban electric transport systems. Under the Molina program, ITB produced multiple fully electric prototypes, including compact city cars and urban transport vehicles, demonstrating local research capabilities in key EV technologies such as electric drivetrains, control systems, and battery integration. These prototypes are engineered without internal combustion components, aiming to support low-emission urban mobility while advancing domestic expertise in electric vehicle design and engineering.
